Nice, simple and yummy cookies to make with kids for the holidays (let's be honest... for any day!) The name comes bothfrom the almost entirely white ingredients list, and from the fact my daughter was wearing a Snow White costume the first time we made them!
Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 3/4 cup white sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups white chocolate chips
- 2 cups unsweetened shredded coconut
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar and white sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the beaten eggs, followed by the vanilla.
- In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, baking soda and salt.
- Gradually add the dry mixture into the butter mixture.
- If using a stand mixer, remove the bowl from the mixer and stir in the chocolate chips and coconut by hand.
- Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto parchment paper lined cookie sheets.
- Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, and allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely. Enjoy!
